Overview


The Pharmacist Intern will assist the Pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services that support the mission, values and philosophy of Pharmacy Services.

This individual performs technical tasks involved in the preparation, documentation and distribution of patient medications.

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Pharmacist Intern prepares and distributes new and refill medications, including unit dose cassettes, IV solutions, controlled substances, outpatient prescriptions and special preparations requiring compounding.
