Summary

This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction, and the National Acquisition Center. The incumbent serves as a Management & Program Analyst in the Office of the Director of the Denver Logistics Center. This position is both highly technical and administrative in nature.

This is a non-bargaining unit position.

Physical Demands: The majority of the work is of a sedentary nature but will require walking in offices, production areas, laboratories and work areas. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, carrying of light items such as papers, books, driving an automobile, etc. This position requires specific agility and dexterity to operate common office machines, access and maintain office files, operate keys, phones, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. There is little if any expectation involving unusual physical hardship.

Major Duties:
  • The incumbent reviews, analyzes and evaluates programs, functions and processes to ensure that work performed is essential and contributes to the accomplishments of the DLC objectives and overarching goals.
  • The incumbent also provides DLC management with progress and operational reports in the most effective media.
  • Analyze the data for accuracy and trends; combine appropriate sales information by commodity.
  • The incumbent establishes and maintains comprehensive reporting systems for all operational parameters at the DLC.
  • Incumbent must possess a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in mastering a highly demanding work environment.
  • Incumbent is fully responsible for coordinating and facilitating various management and administrative programs designed to address the needs of the DLC.
