In this role, the
CUSTODIAL TECHNICIAN maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

Cleans and sanitizes break areas and bathrooms; empty trash and replace paper products.

Cleans, mops, washes, buffs and vacuums floors; includes tiled floors in kitchen and bathrooms.

Cleans glass and dusts any needed areas.

Removes recycling materials.


Dishes in lunchroom are either washed by hand or placed in dishwashers; empty, fill and run dishwashers for kitchen area.

Monitor cleaning supply inventory, counter supplies and pantry items and request more supplies as needed.

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required

1-2 years janitorial experience is preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities.

Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to think and work independently.

Must be able to work in other areas on an as needed basis.

Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
