Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for all tasks and duties required for producing high quality mammography studies, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Specific focus is in providing sensitive and empathetic patient care. Must be proficient in a variety of technical procedures including stereotactic localizations and biopsies, ultrasound guided localizations, needle localizations, bone densitometry, and minor general radiographic work.

All employees of Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

What qualifications you will need:
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiology Technologist Mammographer
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Associate Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • 6 months experience required

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care. We have the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region. Together, we continue to raise the bar in healthcare.
