Your Responsibilities
We are seeking an HMI Platform Programmer with a strong interest in connecting top-notch game engine technologies with automotive platforms. As an experienced engineer, this role offers you the chance to contribute to our engine's growth and shape the future of in-car experiences.
- Develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and enhance features of Unreal Engine and related technologies to provide exceptional real-time HMI experiences
- Collaborate with the Engine team to introduce HMI-specific features and enhancements
- Create cutting-edge products that set new standards and benefit from the vast Epic Games and FN ecosystems
- Engage with leading OEMs to drive innovation using the power of Unreal Engine
Key Qualifications
- Strong C++ skills and software engineering expertise
- Experience with Android and/or Linux, with comprehensive knowledge of both platforms being advantageous
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug, particularly low-level operating system issues
- Proficiency in optimizing/maintaining extensive software systems across multiple platforms, direct Unreal Engine experience on various platforms is a plus
- Customer-oriented, enthusiastic, problem-solving, and innovative mindset. These characteristics define success at Epic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with fluent English proficiency
