First (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Plastic Surgery Specialists Fort Norfolk is now hiring a full-time Radiology Technician in Norfolk, VA

  • ALL QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL RECEIVE A $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
As a Radiology Technician with Sentara, you will conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include:

positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.

Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Qualifications:
Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire.
Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia.
Trade School or Associate's (Radiologic Technology)

Radiologic Technology (Required) ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Radiologic Technologist License - State license - North Carolina, Radiologic Technologist License - State license - Other/National, Radiologic Technologist License - State license - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) Skills
