Village Bottle Shop and Tasting Room is hiring for our newest West Kapolei location

We are looking for Full-Time candidates with flexible availability to work weekends.

Medical, and employee discounts available.

You will be working on a station during service and occasionally helping to expedite/run
food to the guests during busy times.

Shifts will be ranging from dependent upon business needs as follows:

  • AM shifts from 9am-5pm
  • PM shifts range from 1pm-9pm and 2pm-10pm due to changing closing hours throughout the week.
  • May be scheduled to work opposite shift as business needs dictate.
Salary negotiable based upon experience.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 45lbs from the floor to waist height safely.
  • Minimum two years experience in a supervisory role (Lead Cook or Sous chef and above) in a fast paced volume kitchen preferred.
  • Have a current food safety handlers card, or be able to obtain one upon hire.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with ordering, inventory control, scheduling, coaching and disciplinary actions of BOH staff.
  • Create and implement schedules with KM based upon business demands and any planned events.
  • Collaborate with KM on food specials by paying attention to customer feedback and current food trends.
  • Follow proper closing and breakdown procedures to ensure the kitchen and equipment are well maintained
  • Report and equipment malfunction, food/cleaning inventory issues to Kitchen Manager in a timely manner to allow a prompt response and resolution to any issues.
  • Be punctual and ready to work scheduled shifts.
