Position Summary:

Responsible for carrying out automated hearing screening tests on all patients. As a Clinical Audiologist at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance, this position, within the Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute at Renaissance will provide adult and pediatric audiological diagnostic and treatment services to our patients.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs/interprets standard/advanced audiometric tests including speech audio threshold, tympanometry, otoacoustic emission (OAE), soundfield audiology and acoustic reflex decay.
• Performs electrophysiological testing, such as ABR, ECochG, ENOG, and VEMP
• Performs VNG/ENG and provides basic vestibular rehabilitation i.e. Epley maneuver. Provides balance therapy, teaching patients vestibular rehabilitation exercises.
• Evaluates central auditory dysfunction, determining level of patient condition and optional treatment methods
• Selects/fits/counseling patients about hearing aids and hearing assistive technology including Cochlear implants and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids. Counsels on aural rehabilitation and hearing assistive technology.
• Evaluate screenings and present to physician for review
• Proper notification of screening results as per guidelines
