Rental Manager

Deschutes River Adventures is in need of an awesome person to help manage our rentals department. Along with guided trips, we rent and deliver raft rental packages along 100 miles of the Lower Deschutes River. This job is a great opportunity for someone looking to work outside in the raft industry but not necessarily be guiding a raft all season. As the rentals manager you can expect to do a bit of driving, lifting heavy raft equipment often, conversing with rental customers at the put-ins and takeouts, rigging rafts, checking in and out gear, directing other rental staff and helping with raft maintenance. We have a fleet of 40 rafts that are constantly in and out of the shop May through September. This job is physically demanding at times, but also stays interesting You're never doing the same thing as you were the day before.

We work hard, play hard, and have a great work life balance throughout our season in Maupin, Oregon on the Deschutes River.

Ability to drive, park, back in vans, trucks, and trailers

Professionalism on the river and in the shop at all time

Required:
Valid Driver's License
Clean driving record
18 y/o or older

Some prior river company experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. You will get the opportunity to learn this stretch of river and possibly guide some trips as well, if interested. Priority will be given to the candidate who can commit to working with us for multiple seasons. Housing is provided.
