Summary

Duties
  • Serves as a first line supervisor who plans work and establishes priorities. Assigns work to subordinates based on workload, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
  • Monitors the quality of service and information being provided through observation and monitoring of telephone calls.
  • Develops performance standards, discusses performance with and rates employees.
  • Advises and instructs employees on work and administrative matters.
  • Interviews candidates for subordinate positions; makes or recommends hiring, promotion, or reassignments.
  • Recommends changes to the goals and directs initiatives to meet or improve goals.
  • Identifies developmental and training needs of employees, provides or arranges for needed development or training.
