Who We Need

As a Cybersecurity Architect, your primary function is to ensure that the client's new on-prem and cloud development environments meet all security requirements and specifications according to their Risk Management Framework (RMF).

What You'll Do

• Demonstrates the Sabel Values through own behaviors; sets clear priorities and aligns all activities; sets/achieves high personal standards for performance/conduct
• Aid in developing and maintaining supporting documentation for the Assessment and Authorization process.
• Provide practical guidance of technically diverse environments and oversight on vulnerability assessments
• Perform general technical decomposition, analysis, and impact assessments with a focus on security
• Conduct operational and system data flow analysis and documentation for vulnerability assessments
• Apply cybersecurity analytical methods and processes
• Assist in the development of secure cloud environments to meet the needs of diverse clients
• Assist in implementation and adherence of DoD, DAF, and US Navy cyber policies
• Plan and carry out an organization's information security strategy. Develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization and recommend security enhancements to management as needed.
• Constantly monitor their organization's networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions. Install software that helps to notify them of intrusions and watch out for irregular system behavior.
• Keep current with emerging threats and technologies
• Communicates effectively in all directions; creates team structure and process; encourages innovation

Your Qualifications

Required

• US Citizen
• Direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
• Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods
• Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards and procedures
• Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
• Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
• Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software
• Ability to Coordinate Assess and Authorize (A&A), Configuration Management (CM), and Release Management requirements for the client's systems in accordance with RMF
