Job Summary:
The Senior Residential Furnace Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision and strategy to create profitable growth for Trane, American Standard, and associated branded furnaces. This role involves understanding customer needs, analyzing market trends, and assessing competitive and regulatory landscapes to identify business opportunities throughout the product lifecycle. The product manager oversees the sale of furnace through company-owned and private distribution channels, as well as supports sales through strategic channels. This position requires working collaboratively and wielding influence across various functions to ensure customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability goals are achieved. The preferred location for this role is our North American Headquarters in Davidson, North Carolina or Tyler, Texas, though other company locations will be considered.

Where is the work:
- This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
- Lead Product Growth Team (PGT) using the business operating system to develop strategic growth plans with investment roadmaps alongside Integrated Supply Chain and Engineering as well as Marketing, Sales, Project Management and Product Management.
- Own Furnace P&L; analyze and actively manage profitability and sales of offerings
- Continuously evaluate/re-evaluate market trends and regulatory requirements to establish clear objectives and priorities
- Explore creative solutions and critically evaluate with an enterprise mindset to prioritize and progress the most impactful actions
- Actively review product and technology landscapes to identify innovative product solutions, create product differentiation, and reduce product costs.
- Define, size and identify targeted market segments for growth opportunities; analyze the competitive and regulatory landscapes; actively identify portfolio gaps and opportunities
- Work collaboratively to provide accurate operational forecasts that integrate market dynamics, regional incentives and trends, strategic customer's needs, and product phase in/phase out.
- Identify mid- and long-term operational capacity and investment needs and partner with Integrated Supply Chain to develop associated investment strategies.
- Deliver customer solutions through the development of clear and actionable product requirements. Build business cases and develop/execute commercialization plans for new products/product re-launch & channel/market programs. Ensure growth through post launch tracking and countermeasures.
- Review product sales metrics and work with sales and marketing on developing appropriate product selling plans and programs.
- Provide Residential Product sales training & support
- Ensure customers' needs are being met through the entire value stream
What you will bring:
- 5-10 years of product management, product support, or product marketing experience required
- Experience in navigating industry-specific regulatory requirements and crafting strategy that ensures product compliance and activates innovation through targeted investment
- Sound problem resolution, teambuilding, judgment and decision-making skills
- Experience defining and launching market-accepted product value-features while driving cost productivity.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen
- BS or BA in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Trane Technologies Business Operating System or similar (new product launch, product portfolio strategy management, pricing excellence, and inline management)

Compensation:
Annual Base Compensation: $110, ,000
Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
