Catering Sales

Our very busy and growing company is seeking a motivated person to manage all aspects of the catering department. This is an amazing opportunity for someone willing to work hard and grow with us

The Catering Manager would be responsible for the following:

• Client Relations - Corresponding with clients & inquiries in a timely manner. Quote building & menu planning. Maintaining positive relationships with existing clients and working on building new ones.
  
• Staffing - Hiring, training and supervising seasonal and part time catering staff.
  
• Equipment Maintenance - Keeping our catering equipment organized, clean and in working order.
  
• Event Planning/Coordination - Laying out timelines, communicating with kitchen, staff & other vendors to ensure smooth operation of events.
  

A successful candidate will have:

• Several years in the event & hospitality industry.
  
• Able to lift 50lbs periodically.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  
• Basic food knowledge & a passion for learning more about it
  
• Ability to maintain an organized work space
  
• Flexible schedule - particularly in the busy Summer months
  
• Strong attention to detail
  

Compensation:

• Salary DOE + Catering Bonus Pool
  
• Medical/Dental (must work avg 30+ hrs/week to qualify)
