About the RoleAs Warranty and Campaign preventions Director you will be responsible to measure and improve the warranty performance of Magna Electronics products with all customers, collaborating with manufacturing locations, failure analysis labs, engineering groups etc. You will responsible also to identify initiatives and measures to reduce field product recall risk. The Warranty and Campaign Director will maintain visibility of Product Safety and Compliance related issues, respond to customer claims and manage these to successful resolution.
You will be driving problem solving for complex quality warranty issues with hardware, software, systems interactions and conduct read across, improve process and methods for the organization.
Your Responsibilities- Lead and drive Warranty process at Magana Electronics worldwide
- Develop and drive improvement in warranty performance metrics for Magna Electronics Products worldwide.
- Reduce "NTF" (No-Trouble Found) cases in warranty
- Maintain visibility and resolve product safety topics, define, improve warranty analysis process, NTF reduction, collaboration with manufacturing locations, R&D teams and Customers
- Identify and measures to reduce field warranty risk
- Lead resolution of warranty claims and investigations, as well as potential disputes with business partners
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Expert in Warranty management of Automotive electronic systems, including European, Asian and North American OEM warranty tools and processes.
- Proven experience in problem solving of complex automotive electronics systems involving Software, Hardware, systems interactions.
- Individual with strong negotiations skills to represent Magna on quality issues and claims
- Data and statistical analysis proficiency to synthesize large data sets, establish warranty predictions, risks estimations, correlations, etc.
- Direct exposure to material investigations, Failure Analysis, Automotive Electronics diagnostic tools
- Six Sigma – Shainin – certification
- Cross functional experience in manufacturing or R&D (Product Engineering areas), including systems testing
- Very good understanding of ADAS components and systems
