Working closely with the philanthropy team, serves as the primary point of contact for donors for their facilitation, providing personalized attention, fostering meaningful connections, and contributing to the overall success of our fundraising initiatives. Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-4 years Related philanthropy experience, ideally within a health system setting.
required - Experience with/knowledge of electronic medical records, insurance, HIPPA and other patient navigation experience.
required - One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- Strong critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and the capacity to operate with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional proficiency in writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of various communication channels, both print and electronic, is required.
- The candidate must demonstrate the capability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Effective interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging in conversations with professionals at all levels, including physicians, nurses, patients, and individuals both within and outside the organization.
- The candidate should be self-motivated, showcasing a proven ability to deliver high-quality results.
- Collaboration with senior leadership and teamwork are emphasized, while creativity and experience in publication production are considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of communication practices in healthcare or other industries is expected, and the ability to perform well in a stressful environment, taking appropriate actions, is a key requirement for success in this role.
