Summary

This position serves as Pediatric Dental Officer and provides services to the Native American patients and to function as a pediatric dental consultant for the Great Plains Area IHS Dental Program at the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center in Sisseton, South Dakota. The incumbent reports to the Chief Dental Officer.



Duties
  • Independently examines, diagnoses, and treats commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems.
  • Diagnoses mal-occlusions, and pathological or irregular conditions and ensures proper referral of patients for evaluation or specialty care.
  • Provides all appropriate dental disease prevention measures for each patient treated.
