Kernels Game Day Intern

- The intern will help manage a game day staff of 35+ employees (Ticket Takers, Ushers, Security, and Guest Services)
- The Intern will learn and operate the Kernels ticketing system and scanner software
- The intern will oversee community fundraising projects at the stadium, including the 50/50 raffle
- The intern will help with group outings and event set-up
- The Intern will assist Kernels staff in the execution of theme nights and promotions
- The Intern will assist with non-game day events held at Perfect Game Cares Field
- The Intern must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to problem-solve quickly
- The Intern will aid the departments of ticketing, concessions, and stadium operations as needed throughout the season.
Qualifications: Individuals should have a genuine interest in gaining experience in the sports industry, have excellent writing and computer skills, a willingness to learn, a desire to work long hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays), be highly motivated, and be a team player. Previous customer relations and supervisory experience would be helpful, but not required. Candidate must be available to work at all Kernels home games in 2024 and non-game day events (TBD). This position will run from April 1st, 2024 until September 15th, 2024 (start and end dates are subject to change).
