Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $30 - $35 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Hours: 5X8's
• Read and follow assembly and testing instructions step by step, recording results as they are achieved
• Build electrical control panels using schematic and wiring diagrams
• Install and label various sensors using P&ID
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and work areas throughout the day.
• Maintain PPE discipline and tool safety at all times

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical certification in electrical program or comparable experience with electrical systems
• Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, machinery, and systems in compliance with relevant codes and safety standards
• Collaboration with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate work activities, share information, and resolve issues effectively
• Understanding of electrical circuits, components, and systems, including AC/DC theory, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and drawings to perform tasks effectively and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment, including lockout/tagout, arc flash safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage Bonus Certifications and skills
• OSHA 30 hour training
• Forklift training certificate a plus
• Aptitude to manage parts
• Innate understanding of materials Relevant fields
• Technical school students and graduates
• Electrical technician in manufacturing
• Construction (electrical technicians work on residential and commercial)
• Telecommunications electrical technician
• This position requires physical activities including climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, crouching to work on equipment, operating machinery and occasionally lifting and carrying loads up to 50 lbs.
