Minimum requirements:

Candidates must possess strong communication skills, excitement for team-teaching and a passion for play-based learning outdoors, in all kinds of weather. Candidates must be flexible and highly dependable, and have a warm and supportive attitude towards children, families and colleagues. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have the ability to sit on the floor and interact with children, ability to hear and see children, lift and carry at least 50 lbs., and walk and run with ease. Candidates must posses either a CDA, associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a bachelor's degree in a closely related field. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with toddler aged children.

Preferred:

Candidates with knowledge and experience in nature-based and outdoor education and/or Conscious Discipline are highly preferred.

Details:

  • Monday and Wednesday from from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm **additional hours available
  • Benefits for all positions include 30 paid holidays, 7 additional PTO days, and a holiday bonus.
