Location: A popular lake destination located in the western part of Arizona, near the border with California. With over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather, it's no wonder that so many people love to hit the water. And, with miles of open water to explore, there's plenty of room for everyone. This opportunity is available in other parts of Arizona as well.Facility: A private company that provides medical disability examination and evaluation services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Opportunity:
  • Willing to accept providers with sporadic availability - will be on an as-needed basis.
  • Two (2) options listed above - Travel and perform exams at leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice (noted above what is allowed)
  • Will bill per exam
  • Initial PTSD exams, follow up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams
  • DMA certification available (can get CME credits) – will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
  • Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
  • (DBQs)
  • Evaluations to be completed in provider portal
  • Record review is required in most cases
  • No call
  • No weekend
  • 3 Providers needed
Compensation:
  • Malpractice rates must be included in rates
  • Initial PTSD Exam (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)
  • PTSD follow up and all other mental health exams (rate type: per exam 2) (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)
  • Bonus - one time bonus for completing all required training and working first shift/exam
  • Local candidates only, travel included in rates
