About the Position: The 832D Transportation Battalion Puerto Rico Detachment provides daily sustainment cargo distribution, In Transit Visibility (ITV) and surface deployment/water terminal operations throughout Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.



Duties
  • Monitor and report contractor performance to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Synchronize domestic and international moves through direction, analysis, and program management.
  • Provide technical direction and supervision of traffic management activities in assigned Area of Responsibility.
  • Develop policy guidance and support on DOD transportation matters.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise movement of cargo throughout the terminal.
