Medicall Biller

Description:

• Assist in resolving billing issues

• Ensures claims are paid in a timely manner, according to contract terms

• Participate in researching and resolving payment discrepancies

• Generate & mail invoices to private payers & Home Health Agencies

• Execute on follow up with payment & collections

• Apply necessary modifications & posting general journal entries in QuickBooks

• Contact patients daily regarding reimbursement information & account balance

• Charge credit cards & schedule patients on a monthly payment plan

• Ensure Third-Party billing & reconciliation is completed accurately

• Review AR aging to ensure compliance

• Assurance that outstanding claims do not exceed 90 days

• Maintain patient records consistently & accurately with necessary documentation

• Perform all other related tasks as assigned by management

• Adhere to company policies and guidelines

• HS Diploma

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task, learn fast and efficiently

• Outstanding telephone etiquette and communication skills
