The ideal OB/Gyn hospitalist is a partner in clinical education and quality initiatives driven by TeamHealth's Patient Safety Organization. As a clinician led organization, TeamHealth offers flexibility in scheduling, no billing or coding responsibilities and dedicated educational programs for our OB/Gyn hospitalists.

City Description
Directly across the Chattahoochee River, Columbus has a classically restored and lively downtown. It is only 90 minutes south of Atlanta, four hours from Savannah and a short drive to the beautiful, white sand beaches on the Florida Panhandle. Columbus has a strong public and private school system. Many companies are headquartered here. With a population of about 200,000, Columbus is home to many museums, including the National Civil War Naval Museum and Coca-Cola Space Science Museum. Facility Description
Founded in 1836, Piedmont Columbus Regional is a leading healthcare provider in west Georgia serving the Columbus, Georgia area with a network of health and medical services through its two hospital campuses. Piedmont Columbus Regional joined the Piedmont system on March 1, 2018. Midtown Campus is a 583-bed hospital and one of only six regional perinatal centers in the state. Piedmont Columbus Regional offers 24-hour emergency services plus all major medical, surgical and diagnostic care, including: Advanced maternity services and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), children's hospital, which includes a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), neuroscience center for spine and stroke care surgical services, pediatric emergency department and the region's only Level II trauma center, women's care, urgent care, John B. Amos Cancer Center and three retail pharmacies.
