MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a staffing agency certified by the Joint Commission, is in need of a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to work with a prominent healthcare client during a travel assignment.

Requirements

  • Active RN License
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • At least eighteen months of recent Acute Care Oncology experience
  • Additional requirements as specified by the client facility

Duties Responsibilities

The Oncology RN will provide care to critically ill cancer patients, administering chemotherapy, implementing new treatment methods, and monitoring patient progress while creating a supportive environment. Specializations may include pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

  • Care for cancer patients at all stages of their condition, focusing on the acute phase
  • Support patients managing their disease and treatment effectively
  • Educate patients about treatment options and disease specifics
