Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN for their new Clinical Team Lead position located in Port Charlotte. This Pediatric office offers cardiology, ENT, endocrinology, Hem/Onc, primary care and more. We are seeking an RN with a strong pediatric background.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Lead Clinical Quality Improvement
  • Assess annual competencies of clinical staff
  • Perform Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (direct patient care)
  • Patient triage within practice, In-basket management through Mychart
  • Care gap closure by protocol
  • Patient Education and follow up on discharges

Responsible for providing, overseeing, and coordinating nursing care for patients within a complex department or highly procedural area; based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care, through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving while serving as clinician, teacher, researcher, team leader and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and lean performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
