Industrial Designer

If so, PlayPower, a world leading manufacturer of playground and recreation equipment, located in Lewisburg, PA., is seeking an Industrial Designer to join our Outdoor Play Concept Design Team.

We have a playful collaborative team environment that's part of a growing company whose direction is set by design and innovation.

The Industrial Designer's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Concept Design team in developing outdoor play ideas from sketch to final product.
• Researching play.
• Creating play concepts.
• Sketching. Both by hand and digitally.
• Building models. physical and digital.
• Creating communication materials, ie. Concept pitch decks, design presentations.
• Communicating with clarity and participating on multidisciplinary teams.

Qualified applicants will have or be.

• A Bachelor of Industrial Design.

• Highly motivated designer.
• Excel at ideation and making concepts visible.
• Excel at sketching, physical modelbuilding and 3d modeling.
• Interest and or experience in child development a plus.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes also a plus.
