Summary

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command 500th Military Intelligence 715th Military Intelligence Battalion.



Duties
  • Advise the Brigade S3 and subordinate cryptologic elements on all cryptologic matters affecting Brigade operations and planning efforts.
  • Maintain situational awareness and understanding of current Brigade operations and provide detailed courses of action and complete operational plans as needed.
  • Manage the cryptologic intelligence cycle and operations, and requisite manning training, equipping considerations, as well as programmatic activities within the Brigade.
  • Communicate Brigade's cryptologic vision to higher authorities; manages internal Brigade projects and sees them to completion.
  • Serve as the Brigade Primary Signals Intelligence Oversight and Compliance Officer.
  • Initiate mechanisms to ensure Brigade cryptologic operations are synchronized with and/or support National or theater Intelligence objectives as able.
