Royalty Coordinator at Hipgnosis Songs Group (Nashville)


Hipgnosis Songs Group, a Song Management and Administration Company, is looking for a Royalty Coordinator to assist in processing royalty earnings for Company's US based operation.

The Royalty Coordinator will join existing Royalties team and will interact closely with Copyright, Licensing and Finance teams and external Clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare incoming royalty statements for processing
  • Review reporting for accurate accounting of earnings
  • Liaise with sources regarding missing or incorrect royalty data
  • Analyze client earnings and source reporting trends
  • Serve as external point of contact for initial client inquiries
Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in business or related field
  • Related royalties or financial experience
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized, with an ability to manage large workloads and prioritize demands
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
  • Self-starter work initiative and an ability to work independently and with a team
  • Expertise in problem solving
  • Solid math skills and the tendency to think in an analytical fashion
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel in particular
  • Familiarity with the music business and publishing/song management
This is a full time, entry-level position with competitive salary and benefits. Position available immediately and based in Nashville with a hybrid work schedule.
