Overview

The Server role entails taking food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service delivery, coordinating with the kitchen for timely service, and upholding top-notch customer service standards. Additional duties may be assigned by management. This position typically reports to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders, deliver orders, check for guest satisfaction
  • Maintain table cleanliness, monitor drink levels, remove clutter
  • Present check for payment and handle transactions
  • Adhere to HMSHost customer service, beverage, and cash handling policies
  • Maintain a tidy work station and table setups
Requirements and Environment
  • Meet age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Minimum 6 months of serving experience, ideally in a high-volume dining setting
  • Friendly and outgoing demeanor with excellent customer interaction skills
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable immersing hands in water and chemical solutions
