Shift: Monday - Thursday - 4 10's - 5:00AM - 3:30PM

I. Job Summary

Under direct supervision, assists with basic truck shop cleaning and maintenance-related duties.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.
  • Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Support the Welders and keep the shop clean and organized
  • Use a forklift to move containers and arrange them in an orderly fashion
  • Manually Load and unloading trucks

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities required.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Not required.
  • Experience: Four years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferred - Heavy Forklift Experience

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

V. Work Environment

  • Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
  • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 50pounds frequently.
  • Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

The expected hourly wage for this position is $30.15. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.

  1. Non-Exempt, non-union positions : Employees will also receive up to 120 hours of paid time off per year, accrued on a payroll period basis and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
