The Department of Family Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Alhambra Campus, is seeking a Project Administrator to join our team. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for managing the Elder Abuse Guide for Law Enforcement (EAGLE). EAGLE is a web-based tool that provides frontline law enforcement officers with comprehensive information and resources to detect, investigate, document, and intervene in cases of elder mistreatment. The platform provides practical guidance on building a case for prosecution, including definitions of the various types of elder mistreatment, investigative tools, evidence collection and documentation, forensic interviewing tips, and ready-to-use checklists in an easily navigable format. This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), through a grant to the Department of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

The successful candidate will also join the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) team, dedicated to promoting justice and dignity for older adults. The NCEA is one of nine elder justice resource centers funded by the Administration for Community Living, a federal agency under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The NCEA provides the latest information and resources on research, training, policy, and best practices on preventing and responding to elder mistreatment.

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, have exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time. They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The applicant should be able to interact comfortably with a variety of staff, partners, and professionals in order to facilitate the effective coordination of efforts. This position is eligible for flexible (remote) work. The successful candidate will be required to participate in regular team meetings and occasional on-site meetings and events at USC's Health Sciences Alhambra Campus.

Major/Essential functions of the position:

Designing and developing training materials and project deliverablesEfficient management and leadership of projects, project timelines, and deliverablesEffectively collaborate and communicate with national and local agencies and organizationsExcellent management skills including overview of team activities, newsletters, website updates and maintenance, and policy and research highlightsExcellent writing and public speaking skillsConduct expert presentations and trainings on EAGLE to law enforcement agencies and organizationsConduct expert presentations on NCEA to elder justice and other agencies and organizationsAttend, participate in, and present at national and local conferencesDiligence in identifying grant opportunities and excellence in drafting proposalsDraft regular reports to fundersReview of website analytics to ensure continuous quality improvement of website content and efficiencyProvide technical assistance/information and referrals Other tasks on an as-needed basis.

Preferred Education: Law Degree

Minimum Experience: 4 years

Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education and experience relevant to the position

The annual base salary range for this position is $77, $84, When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Minimum Education: Master's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 3 years, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education and project administration experience in specialized field represented by project.
