Modeling and Simulation Professional

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an entry level Modeling & Simulation Professional to work in our Computational Frameworks department on our MOOSE team. Our team works a 9x80 or schedule located out of our C3 facility with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities Include:
Work on the open-source modeling and simulation platform, MOOSE, responding to tickets, and supporting programmatic objectives as part of the team.You must be a strong asset to the MOOSE team and work both in isolation and as an enthusiastic member of the team.Take direction from other team members and peers, and also provide input in a constructive manner to others while maintaining a positive and professional relationships.Documentation of work is required, which typically requires authorship of technical reports and research papers for refereed journals and proceedingsQualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. Experience with object-oriented programming concepts, modern C++, Python, Message-passing Interface (MPI), and scientific computing workflows.Background in one or more physics areas such as mechanics, fluids, materials, or nuclear engineering.
