The Institute for Digestive Health and Liver Disease at Mercy (IDHLD) is seeking multiple accredited GI fellowship-trained physicians, including:

  1. General Gastroenterologist
  2. IBD specialist
  3. Motility Specialist (interest in esophageal disorders)
  4. Hepatologist Each physician will work within the IDHLD and manage all aspects of patient care including evaluation, diagnosis, education and treatment of related disorders. In addition to IDHLD s main clinic site Downtown, there are opportunities for clinics across Mercy s network, including but not limited to Baltimore, Anne Arundel, and Howard Counties. The IDHLD also includes the following facilities and programs:
  5. ACGME accredited GI Fellowship Program - Affiliated with University of Maryland
  6. Teaching affiliation with the University of Maryland School of Medicine
  7. State-of-the-Art Endoscopy Unit
  8. Well run clinical research unit with a statistician with opportunities for clinical trials
  9. Highly collegial, 13-physician, group comprised of general GIs, hepatologists, advanced endoscopists (capable of POEM, ESD), IBD-specialists, motility specialist, and a colorectal surgeon.
  10. High demand motility practice as the only comprehensive, clinically accessible practice in the region
  11. Established colorectal surgery and bariatric program
  12. Salary and benefits are competitive; on-call schedule is infrequentRequirements:
  13. Completion of ACGME residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in
  14. Must possess or eligible to possess a state of Maryland physician licenseVisa Waiver Available: Mercy can support immigration processing for an H1B visa submission
