Serve as a trainer for all training curriculum under Marine Corps Family Team Building (MCFTB) to include Readiness & Deployment Support (RDS), Lifestyle Insights, Networking, Knowledge and Skills (L.I.N.K.S.), LifeSkills, and Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP) Training as directed by the MCFTB Director.

Coordinates and provides training as installation-wide opportunities to Marines, Sailors and families as well as unit-specific opportunities as requested.

Coordinate and provide LifeSkills training, LifeSkills training encompasses the capabilities necessary to successfully meet the challenges of everyday life, the mobile military lifestyle, and heightened operational/deployment tempo using standardized templates provided by Marine and Family Division (MF); Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department (M&RA), Headquarters marine Corps (HQMC).

LifeSkills training strategically target the common protective factors impacting today ́s Marines, Sailors and Families, focusing on increasing awareness and providing skill building tools for individual and family development and readiness.

Coordinate and provide L.I.N.K.S training. L.I.N.K.S. training supports families by providing valuable information regarding the Marine Corps.

Information includes, but is not limited to the history of the Marine Corps, community involvement, Marine Corps pay, moving while in the Marine Corps and many other topics that help families prepare for the many experiences and challenges they may face as a Marine Corps family.

Training must be conducted using standardized templates provided by HQMC, MCFTB.
Coordinate and provide training on the UPFRP.

Provide standardized training to Family Readiness Command Teams, Deployment Readiness Coordinators (DRC), Uniformed Readiness Coordinators (URC), and UPFRP volunteers for units supported by the installation.

Provide functional systems training on all authorized and approved communication tools within Family Readiness.

Develop and deliver training to supplement the HQMC templates regarding local resource information in support of the information, resource and referral service function.

Assist with information and referral support for family readiness issues.

Coordinate and deliver training on RDS training to include pre-deployment, mid-deployment, return and reunion, and post-deployment, as required, using standardized templates provided by HQMC, MCFTB.

Develop and deliver training to supplement the HQMC templates regarding local resource information in support of the information, resource and referral service function.

Assists with information and referral support for family readiness issues of assigned units.
Maintain professional knowledge of curriculum development and materials for appropriate audiences. Facilitate marketing of course offerings to achieve maximum attendance/participation.

Communicate effectively with MCFTB Director, implement and maintain evaluative measures to analyze assigned program training to determine adequate and effectiveness of program quality.

Provide evaluations and comprehensive analysis to HQMC to ensure effectiveness of training curriculum is consistent with the specific needs of Marines, Sailors and families, and to ensure quality of trainers/training meets the desired benchmarks as established by HQMC.

Analyzes challenges including identifying relevant factors, gathering pertinent information and recognizing solutions and best practices.

In some locations, may serve as the responsible point of contact for oversight, development and administration of the Volunteer Management Program to include: mission, vision, goals, objectives, marketing, improvement, organizational and developmental initiatives.

Manage, promote, monitor and assess volunteerism and volunteer placement satisfaction.

Execute coordination and build partnerships with other Marine and Family Program components, installation volunteer coordinators, volunteer ambassadors and community agencies.

Conduct briefs, trainings, and presentations to internal and external customers and outlets.

Coordinate, facilitate, and execute plans and management initiatives to recruit, screen, track, train, evaluate and refer Marines, Sailors, and family members to volunteer opportunities within the Marine Corps installation and outside community based on assessment of their interests, skills and prior experience.

Coordinate recognition ceremonies and public awareness efforts in conjunction with the Public Affairs Office (PAO) to promote volunteerism for MF.
