Supervisory Nurse Practitioner

Develop nursing staff work schedules and manages/oversees the work assignments and performance of nursing staff.
Work with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to assist with treatment and aftercare planning.
Provide diagnostic, preventative, and therapeutic mental health service to clients and family members in a youth residential treatment center.
Work with a variety of patients with substance abuse and mental health issues; these patients often exhibit aggressive, hostile, and irrational behavior.
Assess, diagnose needs, and set up a plan of action to meet identified needs by providing health services to individuals.
Coordinate services with other clinical providers and may make referrals which may include traditional or spiritual modalities.Through a systematic process record review and interaction with the resident, authorized representative(s), and the health care provider(s), collect and analyzes data regarding the resident's physical, psychosocial, self-care, education, and anticipated discharge planning needs; collects information to determine the resident's strengths and needs.
