Our 186 unit apartment community in Vancouver, WA needs a maintenance supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintenance team. maintenance/repairs for our residents.

Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a crew of Maintenance Technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards and in and in a safe manner and will assume all maintenance responsibilities as assigned and acknowledged herein.


Qualified candidates should have skills and experience in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including painting, plumbing & electric, drywall, changing light fixtures, etc.

The Maintenance Supervisor position will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on building facilities and equipment and have a strong background in maintenance and repair.

Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Job Description:
Manage Maintenance Crews/Oversee Daily Operations

  • Oversee daily operations a crew of Maintenance Technicians, including scheduling and assigning tasks, driving production and ensuring all safety regulations and procedures are followed
  • Apply and make available a high level of technical construction knowledge on tough projects
  • Conduct advanced maintenance and repairs on building facilities and equipment, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall and patching, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competence in three or more trades, including advanced knowledge of plumbing, and/or electrical.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks completed and identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate with management and other departments to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Manage and Conduct Work Professionally

  • Manage compliance with company procedures
  • Manage and conduct own work in compliance with OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, Landlord / Tenant Acts/Local, State and Federal laws
Supporting Vital Activities

  • Maintain tools, vehicles and other related corporate owned equipment
  • Be available, responsive and attentive to Technician's needs, requests for help, work order assistance, other work as assigned and other duties as may be assigned
