What will you do as a Performance Improvement Leader at Sealed Air?

As a Performance Improvement Leader at Sealed Air, you will be the driving force behind the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. You will champion Lean methodologies to cultivate a culture of operational excellence across our organization. Your role is vital in ensuring that our plants operate with maximum efficiency, leading the charge in implementing sustainable changes that yield long-term success.

  • Lead Lean Implementation: You will guide our Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams in applying Lean principles to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Transformative Training: Provide comprehensive training to production teams, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking throughout the organization.
  • Shop Floor Leadership: Actively lead Lean activities on the shop floor, including Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, Takt Time Analysis, 5S, SMED, TPM, and more to enhance production flow and standardize work practices.
  • Sustain Lean Gains: Ensure the sustainability of improvements achieved through Lean efforts, providing continuous support to plant Lean teams and management.
  • Kaizen Leadership: Facilitate Kaizen events across multiple sites, driving actionable improvements and ensuring their effective implementation.
  • Reporting & Communication: Establish a robust reporting structure for Lean projects, regularly updating line and functional management on progress and financial impact.
  • Cross-Site Collaboration: Collaborate with Lean organizations across different areas to share best practices and improve Lean implementation across our production sites.
What skills will help you succeed?
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean methodologies, including 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and others.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence change, inspiring others to embrace Lean principles.
  • Extensive experience in applying Lean tools on the shop floor, with a strong track record of successful project management.
  • Solid understanding of how Lean principles impact financial performance, with experience in setting and achieving measurable goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, coach, and facilitate Lean concepts at all levels of the organization.
