Job Highlights

  • Full Time – 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Material handling - moving packed metal product
  • Pack aluminum extrusions using a box knife, cardboard and tape
  • Prepare boxes for shipment to customers. Verify all orders before they are shipped (shipping address, parts, and correct quantity)
  • Ensures quality in the process including correct documentation and verification of orders
  • Willing to follow directions and communicate well with peers and management
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Work with others in a team environment

What We're Looking For

  • Basic computer input and interface skills
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure to a 1/32
  • The ability to safely perform tasks, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and correct or report hazards in the workplace.
  • Stable work history with at least one (1) year of previous work experience in manufacturing or a production facility
  • Ability to read written instructions and take verbal directions
  • Ability to use a hand pallet and or motorized pallet jack
  • Flexibility to be cross trained
  • Experience with small hand tools a plus Forklift experience a plus
  • Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Requires constant reaching, handling and grasping while turning of upper body while moving and lifting
  • Ability to grasp and squeeze small parts and large items
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to ten hours per day
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to wear all safety wear including hard hats, steel toe boots with metatarsals, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, Kevlar sleeves and long pants
