Unit 31 at Midtown is an inpatient post-surgical unit caring for Orthopedics and Neurosurgery patients as well as a backup unit for Stroke patients.
With 34 staffed beds we stay busy and an average daily census nearly full.Our RN staffing is normally 4 to 5 patients per nurse and includes a patient free charge nurse on both shifts in addition to the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Assistant Nurse Manager and Unit Nurse Educator.
Our team is a reflection of the greater Atlanta Community and boasts a very experienced core of nurses with ranges of 40 years to new graduates.
We care for our team members as we care for our patients.We are a great location for newly graduating nurses as well as experienced nurses looking for a change of scenery.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years.
Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
