Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU 48's

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, EOW, No RTO during holidays

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • SD RN License
  • 2 years experience
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
  • Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients
  • Minimum 1 prior travel assignment
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC required
  • Epic experience required
  • Cardiac experience is preferred (not required)
  • Impella, IABP and CRRT - strongly preferred
  • 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
Other details:
  • Travelers must live 100 miles away
  • Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • If they have 1.5 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel and have significant RN experience outside of ICU, please have CRT send to management team for approval
  • Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) - acuity dependent
  • Charting System: Epic, Alaris, Omnicell
  • Could float to any adult floor - including Medsurg/Tele with 1:4 ratio. Confirm traveler comfortability during interview
  • Scrub Color: Navy

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
