Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Obstetrician Gynecologist to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westchester Medical Center, the main hospital of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).

This is a great opportunity for a skilled clinician to grow within a dynamic obstetrical and gynecological program.

The department runs a residency program in OB/GYN with 17 dedicated residents for GYN services. Full support, both clinically and administratively, will be given to establish a top-notch advanced gynecology division in conjunction with a growing full scope gynecology department that includes Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Minimally Invasive, Complex family planning, Urogynecology, and a solid Gynecology Oncology division in operation.

The division will have generous operating room block times and access to a new DaVinci Robotic XI system with dual consoles. Additionally, there are modern outpatient offices with full staffing and strong clinical support from midlevel providers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be Board Eligible/Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with current clinical experience in obstetrics, strong minimally invasive skills, and active participation in an academic environment. We are looking for a candidate at an assistant or associate professor level who has exceptional clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a dedication to patient care, as well as education and scholarly activities for residents, fellows, and medical students. The role will involve teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and colleagues, as well as engaging in scholarly contributions and collaborative research.
