Corning's unmatched expertise in specialty glass and optical physics results in a diverse set of advanced optical products and components from industry-leading materials such as HPFS and ULE to full optical systems including automated laser glass-cutting and non-contact metrology instruments.

The Advanced Optics businesses include Corning Laser Technologies for laser processing machines, Optical Materials and Technologies for manufacturing materials and full optical systems, Precision Glass Solutions for glass wafers enabling mobile consumer electronics, and Specialty Glass and Glass Ceramics for applications including medical X-ray shielding.

This summer we are looking for an MBA intern to support our Aerospace and Defense business where we are building on nearly two centuries of materials science and innovation that can be found from the depths of space to the depths of the ocean. (Duration 2-3 months)

Overview:

The MBA intern will support our Electro-Optical Infrared (EOIR) product line by directly supporting our product line manager in the following areas (project based):

  • Strategy development – for EOIR programs & international pursuits
  • Market understanding – will help to review the 2025 budget outlook and identify priority programs
  • Key customer focus- will help identify growth pursuits and lifecycle analysis of existing portfolio
  • Investment opportunities- will help prioritize RD&E and appropriation requests

Requirements:

  • highly driven individual pursuing an MBA at a top-tier MBA school

  • passionate for technology and how it is used to transform industries and enhance people's lives

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal travel requirements between Corning, NY and Keene, NH

​The range for this position is $1, $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
