Job Description

Are you ready to jump into the exciting world of SONIC Drive-In? Join our fantastic team where you'll work with amazing colleagues, have a nice paycheck, and rock our stylish uniform.

As a Co-Manager at a SONIC Drive-In, you'll be the right-hand person to the General Manager in overseeing operations and administration, making sure everything runs smoothly. Training and supporting the team will be a key part of your role to guarantee top-notch food service in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. We strive to provide every guest with a delightful dining experience whenever they visit SONIC.

Key responsibilities of a Co-Manager at the drive-in restaurant include:

  • Managing, training, and coaching Team/Crew Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops
  • Directing and assigning tasks to maintain high food service standards
  • Ensuring compliance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • Handling opening and closing duties
  • Adjusting staffing levels, inventory, and food costs as needed
  • Conducting inventory checks
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and documentation
  • Emphasizing the importance of customer service to all employees
  • Addressing guest requests promptly and courteously, resolving any complaints

Requirements

To excel as a SONIC Drive-In Co-Manager, you should:

  • Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Possess knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail sector
  • Have at least six months of QSR management experience or two years in entry-level retail management, including shift-running experience
  • Demonstrate effective communication, math, reading, and computer skills
  • Be able to work independently, multitask, and solve problems efficiently
  • Comply with SONIC's appearance and hygiene standards
  • Undergo a background check as part of the hiring process
