The Role: Our Senior Product Designers are the backbone of design excellence and strategic insight, invigorating our Design Team, project teams, and clients with their knowledge and relentless drive for innovation. This role is perfect for those eager to address challenges across various disciplines, solve complex issues, and immerse themselves in the unique dynamics of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Product Design Lifecycle: Own and drive the entire product design lifecycle of major features across multiple projects, from initial research to prototyping, testing, refining, and final hand-off, employing agile methodologies throughout.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Partner with product, engineering, success, sales, and marketing teams to understand business objectives and uncover customer insights, ensuring a unified approach to solving user needs.
  • User Research: Conduct user research to identify problems and validate solutions, employing a variety of methods to gather meaningful data and insights.
  • Design Communication: Effectively communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes.
  • Solution Crafting with Teams: Work closely with developers and engagement managers to create compelling solutions to complex challenges, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and shared achievements.
  • Design Reviews and Sharing: Participate in design reviews and consistently share your work with designers, cross-functional teams, leadership, and the wider company to foster a culture of openness and feedback.
  • System and Library Contributions: Contribute to Lemonlight's design system and component library, ensuring consistency and efficiency in design across the company.
  • Process and Quality Standards: Help establish and maintain design team processes, advocating for high standards in design and product quality across all projects.
  • UX Research: Conduct comprehensive UX research from diverse sources to inform and guide insightful design decisions.
  • Drive Adoption: Accelerate the adoption of Lemonlight by enhancing user experience, shortening time-to-value, inspiring new customers, and encouraging network effects through strategic design.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of UX/product design experience.
  • A degree in HCI, UX, or a related field is preferred.
  • Mastery of product design fundamentals, heuristics, and best practices.
  • Shipped software in fast-paced, technical environments.
  • Experience designing B2B web applications that have shipped
  • Exceptional communication skills for articulating design ideas and decisions.
  • Proficiency in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • A collaborative spirit, with strong interpersonal skills for product success and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including adept time and task management.
