About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

- Position is located at the Fox Health Clinic, Redstone Arsenal, Al

- Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

• Serve as Pediatrics Physician, responsible for, examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
• Responsible for providing care for a broad spectrum of health services, ranging from preventative health care and developmental health care
  needs to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.
• Address biological, social, and environmental influences of the developing patient, with an impact of disease and dysfunction on development.
• Provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
• Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and quality assurance activities as assigned.
• Provide technical oversight of clinical staff (e.g. nurses, social workers, therapists, and various technicians) to enhance team-based care.
