Assignments are designed to improve the employee's grasp and understanding of the Bureau's Lands Program and to develop competence in performing Realty Specialist work.

Gather, analyze, and process information, and make defensible recommendations on a variety of lands and realty actions.
May adjudicate assigned casework with a limited number of complex variables and issues.
Function as a Program contact in many interactions with the public regarding realty matters on public lands.

Provide answers to complex realty program questions concerning the Lands Program and provides advice to the public concerning application procedures.
