REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools/Deputy Superintendent/Executive Director of School Leadership

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Director of Adult Education is responsible for overseeing and developing comprehensive adult education programs within the school district. This role involves strategic planning, program development and implementation, oversight, and management of resources to meet the diverse educational needs of adult learners in the community. Additionally, the Director oversees data collection, outcomes, and measures for programs and provides supervision and leadership for staff development.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary is in accordance with the Hartford Principals' and Supervisors' Association's Schedule for twelve-month positions: Director, Salary Range of $142,054 to $154,648.
