WDAY, the number #1 station located in the Fargo, ND-Moorhead, MN metro area, is looking for a Weekend Anchor to
join our award-winning team. As the weekend anchor/producer, you will be responsible for anchoring and producing our
four weekend evening newscasts. Three days a week, you will have opportunities to fill-in anchor on our other newscasts
and report. You will have many opportunities to grow and try new things as you develop your craft as a journalist. The
successful candidate will have good communication and organizational skills. A college degree in journalism or a related
field is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Anchor and produce our four weekend evening newscasts
  • Fill-in as an anchor on other newscasts when required
  • Contribute to the reporting of news stories
    Qualifications include:
    • Good communication and organizational skills are essential
    • College degree in journalism or related field is preferred
    • Previous experience in anchoring, producing, or reporting is a plus, but we welcome candidates at all stages of their career
