GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

\tNPD Projects Intern will provide project support to NPD Program Managers in the Project Management Department of Manitou Equipment America. The ideal candidate is a student interested in coordinating projects across multiple disciplines.\r

\tDUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:

\t\tBe willing to work cross functionally & support many departments.\r
\t\r
\t\tSupport and coordinate the development of project plans.\r
\t\r
\t\tAnalyze cost savings opportunities for current products.\r
\t\r
\t\tMiscellaneous engineering support (design/manufacturing/quality)\r
\r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t

EXPERIENCE:

\t\r
\t\tCompleted the Sophomore year of an accredited university.\r
\r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t

EXPERTISE:

\r
\t\r
\t\tPrevious work history desired.\r
\t\r
\t\tInterest in construction or agricultural machinery\r
\r
\r

\r
\t

EDUCATION:

\t\tHands on, mechanically inclined, energetic person.\r

\t\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r
\t\r
\t\tMust be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills.\r

\t\tMust be a self-starter with a desire to learn and contribute.\r

\t\tBasic understanding, or interest in, mechanical design, industrial processes, supply chain management, and project management\r

\t\tFamiliarity with 3D design software.\r
