Full Stack Software Engineer

Breezeway is hiring a passionate and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of our product-facing teams. This person will help drive initiatives that deliver on key customer satisfaction metrics, partner closely with our Product team, and contribute to an engineering organization that ships and iterates rapidly. This is a great fit for someone who's curious, self-driven, and fulfilled by the impact their work has on end-users.
Who We AreBreezeway's property care and service platform helps clients prepare their properties to specialized standards and deliver the best experience to their guests and residents. Our software and mobile apps have helped thousands of vacation rental managers and hosts, residential managers, hospitality operators, and service providers facilitate more than 18M tasks and prep for more than 55M nights booked. We're creating the tools that will define the future of hospitality service and empowering our clients to elevate the experience at every property.
What You'll Do- Deliver full stack projects to impact key customer satisfaction metrics.
- Work with our Product team to identify areas of risk within projects, and strategize solutions to mitigate or circumvent those risks.
- Break large, complex projects down into smaller pieces to rapidly ship code to production.
- Collaborate with engineers on your team through pair programming and code reviews to ensure projects move rapidly and accurately through our Software Development Lifecycle.
- Play an integral role in modernizing parts of the Breezeway application to scale effectively in the next stage of the business.
- Product-driven with an ability to identify a pathway to minimum valuable products to deliver value quickly.
- Adept collaborator with teammates and cross-functional stakeholders in various settings.
- Value Test-Driven Development to ensure the fidelity of code shipped.
- Able to communicate effectively to other engineers as well as non-technical team members.
- Critical thinking skills that enable proactive and creative problem solving to mitigate or circumvent roadblocks, and update systems to meet evolving client needs.
- Able to identify opportunities and relationships in disparate points of data in a complex system.
- Committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).
- 5+ years experience in full stack development.
- Experience with React or similar framework.
- Experience with Python or similar language.
- Experience using Git in a team environment.
- Experience in startups is a plus.
